CEKOL

The raw material selection and adjustment of the production process steps makes it possible to tailor specific CEKOL grade’s functionality to different applications. CEKOL Cellulose Gum is a water-soluble polymer derived from wood or cotton cellulose and produced to minimum 99.5% purity. Products manufactured from wood cellulose are fulfilling the GMO-free requirements. The product hydrates and dissolves readily in hot and cold water. By choosing the right CEKOL type, the formulator can achieve the desired rheology for any aqueous system, including suspensions and emulsions. Besides controlling the rheology, CEKOL cellulose gum is known for its excellent water retaining and film forming capacity.

Nourycryl MC 110

Nourycryl MC 110, 4-tert-Butylcyclohexyl methacrylate, CAS 46729-07-1, Our methyl acrylate monomers are specialty chemicals developed for coatings and adhesives to improve adhesion and reduce VOC. The products are marketed under the well-known trademark of Nourycryl. Nourycryl MC 110 can be used as a low-shrinkage reactive diluent in adhesive formulations. It serves as a solvent, which is incorporated into the polymer structure, resulting in low VOC emissions. Its combination of low-viscosity and high-glass transition temperature in the final product is unsurpassed. This methyl acrylate monomer can also be applied as non-yellowing UV resistant co-monomer in cast and optical resin systems, which benefit from its excellent adhesion as well as its high-glass transition temperature.

Thioplast EPS80

Thioplast EPS80, Liquid polysulfide polymer with epoxy end groupsized, CAS 25068-38-6; 9003-36-5; 2425-79-8, Polysulfide, Nouryon's fast-curing epoxy-terminated polysulfide polymer. Thanks to the aromatic end-groups, this grade is curing quickly, even at room temperature. As the other Thioplast EPS grades, this grade combines the excellent properties of polysulfides with the most desirable features of epoxy-resin systems to yield: excellent primerless adhesion to many surfaces (e.g. steel, aluminum or concrete), high impact resistance, even at low temperatures, high thermo cycling stability, chemical resistance to oil, fuels, dilute acids, alkalis, solvents and sea water, very high flexibility, good weathering properties and corrosion protection. Thioplast EPS can either be used alone or in combination with conventional epoxy resins to produce high-performance heavy-duty adhesives and coatings. Manufacturers from the automotive, marine or chemical industries rely on Thioplast EPS grades.

Armostat® 600V is an internal antistatic additive that can be used in various polymers such as PE, LLDPE, PP, SAN and ABS. Armostat® 600V gives sustained antistatic action and shows excellent thermal stability due to its saturated alkyl chain. This makes Armostat® 600V especially suitable for those applications needing higher processing temperatures. Armostat® 600V is a solid at ambient temperatures. When heated the product can be dosed as a liquid directly into the polymer.
