Nouryon today announced the launch of Eka® HP Puroxide™, a new low-carbon hydrogen peroxide product. As the first company in the Nordics to offer this solution, Nouryon provides customers in the pulp and paper, mining, and water treatment end markets with a solution to significantly reduce their Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions.

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a relatively strong oxidizing agent used in the bleaching of both mechanical and chemical pulps and other industrial solutions. Other uses include hard surface disinfectants and oxidizers.

Hydrogen Peroxide based demolition and extraction technology is a sustainable, efficient and flexible concept ready to be used in existing infrastructure.
